Earth Day was this past Monday, and it really got me thinking about the ingredients that are in the beauty products I use. I can’t honestly say that I’m super knowledgeable on the ingredients in cosmetics and their potential harms, but I’ve been doing some research to keep myself informed. While there has definitely been a positive shift in the beauty industry in regards to putting cleaner products out into the market, there is still a lot of progress to be made.

I’ve rounded up six eco-friendly beauty brands, AND they’re black-owned!
