It’s been a while since I’ve done a simple favorites post. I feel like I should do these more often, especially since I love trying out new products. Skin care products are my latest obsession. I’ve tested out a lot of new things over the summer. It’s time to show y’all which products made the cut!

I’ve tried a lot of cleansers. There are not too many that I can say that I love, buttttt I’ve been using this cleanser for about a month now, and I must admit that I do love it! It hits all of my must haves when it comes to what I look for in a cleanser.

It’s a simple-ingredient cleanser that cleanses my skin with zero pulling or tugging. It also doesn’t leave my skin feeling super tight. It does have a faint matcha scent, but I kinda dig it. All in all, I think it’s great for sensitive skin, and I highly recommend it! The price point is also pretty solid in my opinion.

2. Belif - The True Cream Aqua Bomb

I’m definitely a moisturizer snob, but as someone who has sensitive, combination skin, I think my pickiness is fair. I like moisturizers that are hydrating enough for my dry patches, not too greasy for the oily parts of my skin, and doesn’t contain any fragrances/ingredients that will irritate my sensitive skin.

I saw some chatter about this moisturizer on Sephora.com, so I figured I’d go all in and buy the largest size during the summer VIB sale. I’m wild I know, but it turned out to be a great decision because I love this moisturizer. The hype is real! It does its job well, and my skin hasn’t reacted negatively towards it, so it’s a yes for me.

3. REN - ClearCalm Non-Drying Acne Treatment Gel

My skin isn’t perfect, and I breakout like everyone else. I’ve tried many acne treatments, but I always find it difficult to use them on my skin because of how drying they are. I stumbled upon this product at Sephora and decided to give it a try. I’m happy with the results so far. It shrinks the size of breakouts, prevents new ones from popping up, and doesn’t irritate or dry out my skin. I can’t ask for much else from an acne treatment.

4. Fresh - Rose Hydrating Eye Gel Cream

When it comes to my under eyes, my main concern is hydration. I can’t say that I have horrible dark circles or bags, but I’m not too pleased with how dry my under eyes get. This is why I like to reach for hydrating serums that will moisturize that area and also prep my skin for foundation and concealer. Fresh’s Rose Hydrating Eye Gel does a great job of doing just that. It’s lightweight, moisturizing, and smells great! My under eyes love this product.

5. First Aid Beauty - Pure Skin Face Cleanser

This is another cleanser that I’ve been using over the last couple of months. I received a small bottle using my points at Sephora and was pleased with how long it lasted. It’s a simple, no frills cleanser. It has a great lather, is fragrance-free, and does a great job of cleaning my skin without drying it out. This cleanser is a winner in my eyes!

6. First Aid Beauty - Ultra Repair Cannabis & Oat Dry Oil

I never used to be super into facial oils, but I got a sample of this oil at Sephora and had to go back and purchase a full bottle. I have sensitive skin that easily gets inflamed. I started using this oil at night when allergy season rolled around in the spring, and I’ve been very happy with the results. It keeps redness away, and desensitizes my skin. I love it!

It definitely sparked my interest in beauty products containing cannabis/CBD oil. I plan on testing out more of these products in the upcoming months, and hopefully blogging about their success.

7. Burt's Bees: Facial Cleansing Oil with Coconut & Argan Oils

I’ve been tapping back into cleansing oils to remove my makeup, because the amount of makeup wipes and cotton pads I was going through was absolutely ridiculous. I’m trying to reduce my carbon footprint, and figured this may be a good route to take.

I picked this cleansing oil up at Target. In all honesty, I didn’t expect much out of it initially, but I’ve been pleasantly surprised by it! I’m on my second bottle, and plan to repurchase again. I pump some of the product onto my hands, and rub it all over my face. It breaks down waterproof makeup with no tugging! After that, I follow up with my cleanser, toner, and moisturizer, and my skin is super clean and prepped for bed.
